Water Scarcity In Pakistan

Water is the essential component for life.Our country is going through the severe shortage of water.Pakistan is an agrarian country that depends on water to grow crops.But according to IMF Pakistan is third affected country who is facing water scarcity.

Sources of Water:

Pakistan water’s comes from number of sources.60% of water is obtained from rain from monsoon rains.Pakistan has glaciers which feed river system in Pakistan.River Indus provide water for irrigation.

Causes of Water Scarcity:

Some causes due to which water is being shortage in our country.

Pakistan’s surface and underground water is depleting now.Problem of water shortage in Pakistan has worsened terribly due to alarming rate of water usage in Pakistan.So water can be stored if government take action, dams construct for storing of water,give strict guidelines to industires to run off water not in clean water in another area. Give awareness to people that how to store water by opening centers of water storage and giving pamphlets to people.
